Donation Point Tap Terminal

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Donations be refunded?

Down Arrow

No, Donations cannot be refunded. If a dispute arises, it is best to advise the donor to contact the charity's head office for discussion.

When do the funds go into our account?

Down Arrow

Donation Point Tap operates just like a traditional EFTPOS terminal. Funds will be settled by the acquiring bank at their predefined host settlement time each day, paid into your nominated bank account. Note that if your bank account is with a different financial institution, there may be an additional delay in funds reaching your account.

How can I provide a receipt?

Down Arrow

Following the completion of a donation, the donor is provided an option on screen to request a tax receipt. Selecting [Yes] will show a QR code that can be scanned by a smartphone camera, taking the consumer to a digital copy of their receipt. For more information, please read here

Is there a limit on the transaction amount?

Down Arrow
